Ward's Christian Bookshop was established in 1965 as the fulfillment of a vision by Doris Ward.  Her vision, mission and inspiration continue today in Ward’s Christian Bookshop’s commitment to providing a full selection of Christian products that change people’s lives and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

In 1971, Mr. Robert Ward grew the vision by expanding the store and broadening its inventory, thereby increasing its resource offerings to individuals and churches.  He continued to serve whole heartedly in its leadership until 1991, when he retired and sold the business to his son Raymond.  In 1994, upon Raymond’s passing, his wife Sharon became president carrying forward the shop’s vision and mission.   

Since its beginning, Ward’s Christian Bookshop has been owned and operated by people who love the Lord and desire to serve Him. You can ask anyone there and they will tell you they consider the business an important part of their ministry.
